Choosing

Clinton or Obama. Obama or Clinton. It is like in grade school when your two best friends were nominated for president of Young Citizens League at the same time. It is like when two boys leave you notes in your locker asking you to the dance during the same class. (Or as I imagine it might be.) It is like when both margaritas and daiquiris are on sale at the same time. It is like when there is both fudge and divinity at the holiday buffet. I want them both.

    Do you suppose one would choose the other as a running mate? Then you could have them both...

    Did you ever see that South Park when they had to choose between a douche and a turd sandwich for the school mascot? It came out at the Bush/Kerry election and was the funniest political satire I've probably ever seen. I love those guys anyway though.

    I'm not comparing this to that at all but your whole thing about choosing just reminded me of it.

    oh, sure i try to run a nice clean blog here that my kids can read and you come by and throw in douche and turd. great. thanks. i am going to go to your blog and say something innane and insipid about bunnies and other cute things now. i think you should send me some fudge and divinity to make up for it. follow the recipe!
