We had the steps from the house site to the water's edge built in summer, after the ephemeral wildflowers were mostly gone. In some places, the stairs turned out to be right over some of them. Some seem not to mind all that much.

ReplyDeleteoh, the variegated kind that is an obnoxious pest that runs and creeps and seeds everywhere and kills all in its path or the solid green kind that is a hideious obnoxious pest that runs and creeps and seeds everywhere and kills all in its path? to think i actually bought the stuff as a ground cover for dry shade. whoever sold it to me should be hung by their toes and forced to weed it until it is gone.
