my child is of the opinion that duct tape belongs on a cobbled together skateboard ramp that he may then use to cause parental heart attacks! Using it on duct work - how novel!
ReplyDeletemy courageous teen uses duct tape to cobble together interesting, parental heart attack causing things such as skateboard ramps. I don't think he would even consider using it for duct work. For that matter, I am pretty sure Jan has used it for interesting, heart attack inducing projects as well (go figure).
ReplyDeleteCome visit someday :)
my kids make wallets out of it. one year, one of them and a friend had a little cottage industry going at the junior high, making custom duct tape wallets for students. you could specify color, with or without accent stripes, and with or without a pocket with a window for your school ID. I thing they actually made more money than the materials cost.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't seen anything until you've seen a complete tuxedo made out of (orange) duct tape. Coat, pants, hat and cane... It was a sight to behold. thanks to the manufactures rep who donated the box of duct tape to the troop!
