How in the world could you get bored in DC for a week??!! Loved the pictures;makes me want to go back for a month!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know - I could spend a whole day photographing just those carved panels on the walks around the capital - we have one day left and 3 things we want to do. Tonight it was finally warm enough and dry enough to finish the mall sights - went to Jefferson Memorial after dark - awesome! And the cherry trees at dusk! Then walked all the way to the capitol then to the hotel. After a whole day at the zoo where we saw the pandas! I have always made fun of the salt and peper shakers at tourist places and this time vowed I would get some - yes, the capitol and the Washington monument - white with . . . yes, gold trim! SOOOO cool!
