The reflection is an imperfect copy of the original. But the muted colors can emphasize the shapes, the waves in the water add pattern and interest. Which is more beautiful, the thing itself or the thing reflected in the water?
Or does the juxtaposition make each more beautiful? What do we reflect and how accurately? Do the
imperfections in what we reflect make for better or worse? Do my photographs reflect the beauty of the place enough to make you want to go there? Or some conservatory like it that is near you?
