aw, perhaps you're right... but I wouldn't get to use my shepherdess crook if sheep weren't spunky and a little devious! Plus it is really nice to just sit out in the pasture with the sheep and have them come nuzzle you looking for a little grain... trying to beat the hens to it, of course!

i thought that crook was for pulling mando/fiddle/guitar/banjo/uke players off the stage when they refused to yield to the next performer
