The treads and stringers and posts and rails have been measured for and cut and some of the parts have been assembled. The stairs themselves are in place and functional and wonderfully in scale to the timber frame of the house. One half of the railing is assembled, but the other half will have to wait until after the flooring, because flooring is holding up cabinets that are holding up counter tops that are holding up plumbing that is holding up oh I don't know what but something. We'll get back to the stairs and railings later.
