Day 3 - Lake Desor to Hatchet Lake

Along Greenstone Ridge Trail, the trail continued to alternate between high open ridge and low moist ferny areas or actual standing water crossed by boardwalks. oh, just more beautiful wildflowers, more scenic vistas, more ferns, more aspen and birch.
Rain set in as we enjoyed lunch in the shelter of an observation tower, so we dug out the rain jackets and trudged onward. The camp was at another beautiful lake, and though the water was not as clear as the last, there was sweet gale growing along the edge, which makes a soothing tea.
